A multi-disciplinary creative with roots in fashion, ceramics and a deeply intuitive approach to interiors, Anouk Yve has long cultivated a life shaped by restraint, rhythm and material sensitivity. Living in a small village in the northern Netherlands, she embraces a gentler pace where creativity is folded into everyday life, and the home becomes both canvas and sanctuary.
Invited by JOV to design a custom piece for her home, Anouk approached the process with the same measured intentionality that defines her work. The resulting rug is quietly expressive: a simple composition heightened by thoughtful shifts in texture and tone. At its heart is an elevated, high-pile border.
A soft, tactile frame that introduces comfort and a subtle sense of enclosure. The coloured edging echoes hues already present in her interiors, allowing the rug to sit naturally within the space rather than announce itself.
“The beauty lies in creating something uniquely yours.”
– Anouk Yve
The rug is crafted entirely in JOV’s Chloe quality, a blend of New Zealand wool and Tencel Lyocell. A 20 mm pile height anchors the centre, contrasted by a soft 65 mm frame. The palette pairs Chloe mix 85 in beige with a subtle accent in Chloe mix 6N140 – 4LY11.
Anouk’s collaboration with JOV reflects a shared belief that design is most successful when it feels personal, when it supports the way a space is lived in and when decisions are guided by intuition rather than trend. The strongest choices always come from trusting your own eye.
