Zoumey
Designed by Belgian sculptor and designer Arno Declercq for JOV, the Zoumey rug translates architectural form into textile. Its striking geometry is drawn from Declercq’s Four Leg Stool, where simple blocks become a bold, graphic composition. The name refers to the sacred Zoumey forest in Benin, home to revered Iroko trees, adding a quiet cultural depth to the piece.
Hand-tufted in a luxurious blend of merino wool and mohair, the rug has a natural sheen, softness and refined tactility, balanced with strength and durability. The result is a contemporary design that feels grounded, timeless and deeply connected to craft.
