Vintage Moroccan Azilal 2
Handmade in the Tadla-Azilal province of the Atlas Mountains from the finest sheep’s wool, each Azilal rug is one-of-a-kind. One of the rarest types of Moroccan carpet, they have similar tones and patterns to the more well-known Beni Ourain, but are identifiable by their abstract highlights. Berber women individually determine the colour and design of their rugs, creating true works of art. Azilal rugs vary in density from lighter textures to thick and warm.
