These vintage flat-weave kilims were hand-woven circa 1950s – 1960s in Eastern Turkey using a combination of natural wool, cotton and goat hair. Extremely durable and following an old Turkish weaving tradition, these kilims were once used as blankets and temporary shelter by nomadic tribes and shepherds to keep warm during the colder months.
